The MOVEit Transfer hacks exposed approximately 60,000 clients of TD Ameritrade, a US stockbroker, with attackers stealing some users’ bank account details.
Attackers gained access to the data by taking advantage of a flaw in the MOVEit Transfer program. The Cl0p ransomware gang has claimed responsibility for the exploit, which has compromised hundreds of businesses since late spring 2023.
