The enraged Tesla owner filed a potential class-action lawsuit against the electric car manufacturer on Friday in the US District Court of Northern California, alleging that it had violated the customers’ privacy rights.
In a damning article published last week, the news agency Reuters said that Tesla employees would watch secretive and occasionally compromising video of customers while they were at work and would also take screenshots, comment, and make memes out of the videos.
According to approximately a dozen ex-employees who were questioned for the article, the employees would send private information to one another via email and the company’s internal messaging system read more Tesla hit with class action suit accused of privacy violations.
