Ukrainian military says it hacked Russia’s federal tax agency

The Russian Federal Taxation Service (FNS) was hacked, according to the military intelligence service of the Ukrainian government, which also deleted the agency’s backup copies and database.

Following this operation, which was conducted by cyber units within Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence, military intelligence officers gained access to 2,300 regional servers across Russia as well as the central servers of the federal taxation service, and they also occupied Ukrainian territory.
