WhatsApp enables screen sharing for video calls

In order to better compete with Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, Meta is introducing a screen-sharing option for video calls on WhatsApp.

Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, revealed the new function on Facebook and published a photo of it in use. Screen sharing, which was initially made available to beta testers in May, is now accessible to everyone using WhatsApp to make video calls on iOS, Android, Windows Desktop, and iOS and Android devices.
