OpenAI Disrupts Russian, North Korean, and Chinese Hackers Misusing ChatGPT for Cyberattacks

Three activity clusters were terminated by OpenAI on Tuesday for abusing its ChatGPT artificial intelligence (AI) tool to aid in the creation of malware.

Among them is a Russian-speaking threat actor who allegedly utilized the chatbot to assist in the creation and improvement of a remote access trojan (RAT), a credential stealer designed to avoid detection.
